Djungan Information Sign
NNTAC was successful in securing a Regional Arts Development Fund grant from the Mareeba Shire Council, for a Djungan cultural sign to be installed at Ngarraboolgan (Mt Mulligan), approximately 150km west of Cairns.
With the traditional knowledge and sketches from Djungan Traditional Owner, Djungan Paul Neal and NNTAC, the 3000x2200mm sign was developed and installed in July 2019.
Visitors to Ngarraboolgan will now be able to read about Djungan’s laws and customs, dreamtime stories and learn about historic events in a detailed timeline.
