2021 NNTAC AGM (2nd December 2021) - Update

All members of the corporation are advised that an Annual General Meeting of members will take place at 10am on Thursday 2nd of December at the following two locations linked via Zoom:

1. Cairns: Serbian Cultural & Information Center Cairns Inc., 67 Greenslopes St, Edge Hill QLD 4870, and

2. Mareeba: Mareeba International Club, 10 Vaughan St, Mareeba QLD 4880

The Rotation of Directors System

Please note that the new rulebook provides that half of the directors stand down every second year. This means that there are elections at every second AGM for half of the directors.

Therefore, at the start of this AGM, all current NNTAC Directors will stand down. Then, 6 directors will be elected for a term of 2 years, and 6 directors will be elected for a term of 4 years.

The family groups being elected for a 2 year term are:

·         Tommy and Topsy Wason;

·         John Wason;

·         Dinah [Richards];

·         Jessie Wason;

·         Jack O’Neil and his spouse, Flora Richards;

·         Peter Ray Burns;

The family groups being elected for a 4 year term are:

·         Jimmy Kingsburra and Lizzie Kingsburra (including descendants of Jo Sands);

·         Charles James Archer (senior);

·         Lucy [Burns];

·         Pluto [Brumby];

·         Mollie and her spouse, Bert Gordon; and

·         Mick Richards.
